This blog is really just a place for me to share some of my favourite passions:-
Anime: I have loved anime since i was very young and am a huge fan of those that revolve around romance or magical girls but i also watch lots of anime that doesn't fit the shoujo genre and try to watch something different each season. I collect anything anime related and at some point will do a blog about my collection.
Manga: My manga collection has grown recently to huge proportions and i buy a lot of paper manga as i believe the industry is struggling especially the shoujo side and as such the choice of manga available is limited and a lot of new series are very similar in content and feel. IT's my hope that since kodansha and deadman have picked up a few series, the variety should improve. I will do a few reviews of the latest mangas i purchase as well as some of the classic sets i own.
Kawaii things: I love all things kawaii from clothing to accessories to homeware and even furniture i try to reflect this in all aspects of my life. I'll add some posts about this whenever i find new things i think are of interest.
Geeky things: I have a partner who loves sci fi and his influence has had a knock on effect, we collect comic books and lots of geeky stuff to represent our favourite shows.
Subscription boxes: Growing up i absolutely adored lucky dips and mystery bags in the local toy shops it was the surprise and the trying to guess what was inside and the thrill when you got something you really liked. Trying to recreate this as you get older got harder at the turn of the millenium when often these bags weren't worth the money you paid.However recently the popularity of subscription boxes has soared and as such so has the variety from make up, stationery, geeky bits and kawaii stuff to food, you really can get one to suit anyone. We have signed up to a few boxes and as such will be posting some reviews in march and after as we try to find ones worth the money. Obviously we can't buy them all so we'll be shuffling around a lot until we find the right fit.Will also` be posting some unboxings on youtube.
Mainly the objective is to share what i love and hopefully get to meet some like minded people who can share in the things i love and perhaps introduce me to some new things.
